Massive $605 Million Powerball Jackpot Up for Grabs; Monday's Winning Numbers Revealed

The hunt for a fortune continues as the Powerball jackpot surged to an estimated $605 million for Monday night's drawing, making it the largest prize of 2025 so far. The winning numbers drawn were 15, 46, 61, 63, 64, and the red Powerball was 1. The Powerplay multiplier was 3x.

Despite the enormous prize, the top jackpot remains unclaimed. This marks the latest drawing without a grand prize winner since the last jackpot was hit in May. The lucky winner now faces a life-changing choice: an estimated one-time, lump-sum cash payment of $273.4 million or the full $605 million paid out gradually over 30 years.

This colossal sum places the current prize among the top 20 largest Powerball jackpots in history. However, the odds of hitting the jackpot are incredibly slim, standing at about 1 in 292.2 million. Players have a much better chance of winning smaller, yet still significant, prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million, with overall odds of winning any prize at about 1 in 24.9.

The excitement over such large jackpots continues to drive lottery sales across the nation. In fiscal year 2023, total U.S. lottery sales surpassed $100 billion for the first time, partly fueled by the record-breaking $2.1 billion Powerball won by a ticket holder in California in 2022.

Powerball tickets are available in 45 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The game's entry cost has remained at $2 in most jurisdictions since 2012, unlike its counterpart, Mega Millions, which recently increased its ticket price to $5.

Did you win? The next opportunity is just around the corner. The Powerball jackpot will continue to grow, with the next drawing set for Wednesday night at 11 p.m. ET.
